After-care

Permanent Make-Up
After-care

Immediately after your appointment firmly dab your new PMU with a tissue for 1-2 hours.

Please cleanse and apply ointment to the PMU area morning and night. You should continue this regimen until your PMU is healed, typically this takes 7-10 days. A pea-sized amount of cleanser and a rice-grain amount of ointment is all you need. Cleanse in gentle circular motions. Use enough pressure to cleanse but not so much that you're causing irritation. Dry the PMU area before applying ointment. Never apply ointment to wet skin.

Things to avoid during the healing period:

Excessive sweating and working out

Rubbing, picking, or scratching at your tattoo

Sleeping on the tattoo area

Using makeup or skincare products within an inch of the PMU area; especially retinols, BHAs, and brightening products

Facials, chemical treatments and injections for 3 weeks.

Tanning or excessive sun exposure

Getting lash extensions or a lash fill

Excessive moisture, long hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, and underwater swimming

FOR LIP BLUSH CLIENTS:

Avoid spicy or big bite foods, drink through a straw when possible.

Cleanse your lips with warm water after each eating/ drinking session, lightly pat dry, and apply the oitment that was provided to you.

No kissing or sexual contact until your lips are healed.

Avoid dental procedures, and getting toothpaste on your lips.

Lash and Brow Lamination
After-care

It will take 24hrs for your perm to set:

During this time please avoid: Water, heat, steam, saunas, oils, lotions, creams, shampoos, face washes, and make up remover wipes on your perm.

Additionally, during this period the perm is still malleable. Avoid sleeping on the permed area, sleeping on your back is best. Do not rub your eyes (for lash lifts), or move the permed hairs out of place.

Using oil based skincare or makeup removing products will cause perms to break down prematurely.

Wax
After-care

Avoid hot showers, swimming, hot tubs, or sauna's for 24-48 hours.

Refrain from using harsh soaps, lotions, or perfumes on the treated area.

Limit sun exposure and use sunscreen if necessary.

Do not touch or scratch the area excessively

You can gently exfoliate the procedure area after 24-48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Apply a moistureuizer daily to keep skin hydrated. You can use an ingrown hair treatment product if needed.

Saline Removal
After-care

For 7-10 days gently but firmly dab saline wash with a lint free cotton pad to the procedure area.

For the first 48 hours, refrain from wetting the area. Use a makeup wipe or a washcloth to wash the areas around the procedure area.

As the scab starts to form, keep the area clean and dry. The longer the scab stays, the better the result.

Until scabbing is complete, no skincare products should go within 1" of the procedure area.

Do not touch, rub, scratch or pick the scab. Doing so may cause scarring and/or hyperpigmentation as well as prevent the saline from removing as much pigment as possible.

While the area is scabbing, do not apply any type of balm, ointment or covering.

Avoid exercising and/or sweating, swimming pools, jacuzzis or other bodies of water. Do not soak the area underwater in a bathtub or under the shower head for two weeks.

Once the scab has fallen off on its own, you may begin applying the provided oil or ointment 3 x daily, No other creams or chemicals should be applied during this time.

Keeping up with your select ointment application for a minimum of 4 weeks will reduce the risk of scarring or discoloration, which is rare.

The skin may appear pink or discolored for a couple weeks before returning to its original shade. Do not panic, this is normal as it can take up to 12 weeks.

Sometimes pigment that has spread underneath the skin may rise to the surface before coming out completely. In these cases, it may appear that the tattoo has migrated to the surrounding tissue. This is all part of the process, and can be addressed during future sessions if needed.

Please refrain from threading, waxing, or using hair removal products on the treated area while healing.

Saline removal is a process. Desirable results take an average of 3-6 sessions depending on the depth & pigment of the unwanted tattoo, among other factors and sometimes more.

Appointments will be spread out at least 8 weeks apart.
